The switch

Seven on court. Here's the before and after

A WhatsApp group and a lot of chasing

  • You ask who's in and get four replies and two thumbs-up emojis
  • It's Wednesday and you still don't know if you have a GK
  • A player drops out at 6pm and the message goes to nobody in particular
  • Court fees collected in coins, or forgotten entirely
  • Nobody can say who's been at training and who hasn't

Running it on TeamCheck

  • Post the match once — everyone answers in, out or unsure
  • A live count, so you know on Monday whether you need a fill-in
  • A drop-out triggers a notification the whole squad actually sees
  • Subs and court fees paid in the app, with a paid list
  • Training attendance per player, recorded without any effort

Features

Everything your netball team needs

Training attendance

Weekly training set up once and repeating. One tap from each player, and a register you never have to write out.

Match availability

Seven on court means a squad of nine is a good week and six is a forfeit. Get the number days ahead, not on the night.

Squad chat & announcements

Court change, fixture rearranged, umpire needed — pinned so it doesn't vanish under the weekend's messages.

Subs & court fees

Weekly match fees or termly subs, paid online via PayPal, Revolut, Venmo and more, with the chasing done for you.

Multiple teams & sections

Seniors, juniors, back-to-netball and the social side, each as its own group with its own schedule and register.

Attendance stats

Who's at training week in, week out — the fairest starting point when you're deciding a starting seven.

FAQ

Netball team FAQs

Yes. Training attendance, match availability, squad chat, announcements and subs collection are all in the free plan, with no per-player pricing — a club with five teams pays the same as a single social side. An optional Pro plan adds monthly analytics and automatic payment reminders.

Post the match and every player in the squad gets it on their phone to answer in, out or unsure. You see a running count and a list of who hasn't replied, so if you're sitting on six on Monday you can find a fill-in with days to spare rather than discovering the problem at the court.

Yes. Charge per match, or set a termly or monthly sub, and players pay online via PayPal, Revolut, Venmo, Swish or MobilePay — or hand you cash and mark it as paid for you to confirm. You get a live paid/unpaid list rather than a purse full of coins and a rough idea of who owes what.

Yes, and those are often the hardest groups to run because the roster is loose and turnout varies week to week. Each session is a sign-up rather than a fixed squad, so you see the count before you commit to the court booking, and there's no per-player cost as the list grows.

Yes. Each team is its own group under the club with its own schedule, register and chat. Parents can join junior groups and respond for their child, coaches only see the teams they're assigned to, and the committee gets a view across all of them.

No. It tracks attendance statistics — training attended, lateness, absences and a squad leaderboard — not scores, goals or centre-pass counts. League results stay with whatever your league already uses.
